  1. Why do I need a website for my company?
    • Websites can be used for a wide variety of goals and situations. A website is the easiest way and most popular way of advertising your company. A website can be used to increase your client base, capital, or even allow your current clients to view other products/services you have. The website can be directed to exactly what you need. If you don't want anymore business, you don't have to advertise. Having a website can simply show your clients that you are on the "cutting edge" of technology.   2. What kind of things should I put on my website?
    • The things that you put onto your website is known as "content." The content on your website should be directed towards your goal with the website. If you goal for the website is to give your clients a gallery of your work and to increase your client base then you should place a few galleries of your work (photographs), have a page for your services, and more importantly how they should contact you. With each and every company, the goals are different. You are in 100% control of your website design and content. We will help you along the way with what types of content and what you may want to do.
  3. What is "hosting?"
    • Hosting is what makes your clients able to view your website online. We place your website onto a computer which is connected to the internet. When your website is hosted on the internet, your clients/potential clients can visit your www.yourname.com.
  4. Are there any contracts or fine print with ViperDezigns?
    • No, there are NO hosting contracts or fine print with ViperDezigns. You own absolutely everything. If you ever decide that we did not meet your expectations then you can have someone else go host your website. All of our clients that are with us are with us because they want to, not because they have to. We feel this is important because we want every single one of our clients to be 100% satisfied with our services.
  5. How long does the website take to get completed?
    • The completion time is normally within 15 business days as soon as your content arrives. If you have a substantially larger site such as 10-15 pages it may take a little longer than normal. We design the site exactly to expectations which means we will do what needs to be done until you are 100% satisfied with your website. When we ask you, how is your website and you say, "good." To us, good is not good enough. We want you to say, "Excellent!"
  6. What is Internet Marketing?
    • Internet marketing is probably one of the most important steps in designing a website. We will take some time with you after the website is designed and figure out "key words" that should be used for your website. Most of the time you need to focus key words to specific audiences. After the keywords are completed, we submit you to the major search engines such as Google, Search.com, Yahoo, AOL, ect.
  7. I don't see my website in the search engines, what can we do about this?
    • The most common mistake with marketing on the search engines is company's get "ancy" and resubmits their websites. Resubmitting is a huge "no-no" in internet marketing. Search engines think that your website is spam and completely block your website from ever entering their list. The best thing that you can do is wait. A rule of thumb is waiting around 4-8 weeks before you check to see if your website has been listed in the search engines.
  8. How can I change stuff on my website?
    • Simply give us a call, drop us an e-mail, or send a fax to us! We will take care of it! We offer FREE minor monthly updates for all of our clients. It is extremely important to keep your website up-to-date with your information and new products/services/work that you have! Keeping your website up-to-date can also assist in your "rank" on the search engines.
  9. Will my website with ViperDezigns be a template?
    • No, your web site is completely customized exactly to how you want it. We do not use any premade templates what-so-ever.
  10. What is "flash animation" and how can I use it?
    • "Flash animation" is the moving of the website. For example, a set of pictures fading in and out, rotating, shaking, etc. These are examples of flash. Flash should used in moderation and to increase the visual experience of visitors.
  11. Can I edit my website when I host with ViperDezigns?
    • We do not normally allow any FTP Access to our clients. This is why we offer the FREE minor monthly updates. Simple changes and editing can be done with a simple phone call by you. You can also just drop us an e-mail. If you need FTP Access to your website, please request it.
